Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy –is a form of body work in which the therapist, in addition to using hands and arms, “walks” on the client’s back while holding onto rails suspended from the ceiling using their own weight to increase or decrease pressure, relieve tension, and deeply relax muscles.
Hot Stone massage – Hot stone massage is a variation or an addition to classic massage therapy. Heated smooth, flat stones are used on key points on the body.
Cupping Therapy- Through either heat or suction, the skin is gently drawn upwards by creating a vacuum in a cup over the target area of the skin. The cup stays in place for five to fifteen minutes. Helping to treat pain, deep scar tissues in the muscles and connective tissue, muscle knots, and swelling.
Deep tissue massage- Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury.
Swedish massage- is a relaxing full body massage which includes a variety of massage strokes and stretching. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, and greater flexibility.
Lymphatic Facilitation- Lymphatic Facilitation is an extremely light and gentle massage technique used to facilitate the removal of excess fluid that collects in tissues after trauma and inflammation. Lymphatic Facilitation may be performed in just one area of the body or on the whole body as needed. LF may be used as a stand alone massage session, integrated in as part of a full body massage, or used in a massage to treat a specific area.
Medical massage- Medical massage is performed with the intent of improving conditions or pathologies that have been diagnosed by a physician; a wide variety of modalities or procedures are utilized to focus the treatment based on the diagnosed condition.
Myofascial massage- Is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. This alternative medicine therapy aims to relax contracted muscles, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles.
Prenatal massage- Prenatal Massage focuses on the mother-to-be as she goes through the changes due to pregnancy. Certified therapists will focus treatment on the concerns of each trimester and the postpartum period assisting in restoring the body back to its normal condition.
Relaxation massage- Focuses on the client and their experience as a whole. A quiet, comfortable, deeply relaxing experience meant to pamper and soothe away the physical and emotional stresses of everyday life.
Sports massage- Is a large category that encompasses several other massage modalities and concepts: It encompasses any technique that the therapist knows and feels are necessary for a particular session, often, those techniques are Swedish, deep tissue and stretching.
Thai Yoga massage- or Thai massage is traditionally performed on the floor - you lie on a padded mat as the therapist guides you through partner yoga poses and manipulates your body into stretches. Some traditional massage techniques, such as acupressure, compression and joint mobilization, are also used, but no lotions or oils are applied and you remain fully clothed for the session.
Shiatsu- is a Japanese form of massage that works with the meridians of the body, just as acupuncture. This form of bodywork helps clear energy blocks and restore balance in the body. Client lays on a floor mat dressed in loose clothing.
